Multiple Car Accidents Keep Danbury Firefighters Busy On Sunday

DANBURY, Conn. -- Sunday night proved busy for Danbury firefighters who responded to car accidents that left at least four people with injuries, according to the News-Times.

The accidents involved cars hitting utility poles, and required extrication of several people who were pinned in their cars, the News-Times said. 

One accident involved two cars and a utility pole on Rose Hill Avenue that occurred at about 7:30 p.m.  Two people had to be extricated, and all four went to the hospital, the News-Times reported. 

A short time later, a car hit a utility pole along Liberty Street, pinning one person in the car. That person was also extricated and sent to the hospital, the News-Times said.
